For me, one of the greatest things about having a Kindle is finding treasures like this one that I wouldn’t have found otherwise. Tracking Perception is a great mystery starring Becky, Matt and wonderdog Tasha.
Tracking Perception is well written and fast-paced. The characters are very realistic and quite funny. Becky has a mouth on her to be sure, but she’s got a heart of gold. Some scenes had me laughing out loud, but there’s a seriousness to the book too. Tasha the German shepherd is a wonderful character with a quirk or two that are just hysterical. Watch out whenever a phone rings! (You’ll have to read the book to find out what and why.) She’s a great dog and Becky will have her hands full with Tasha.
Though the book could’ve used a proofreader to catch some typos, it didn’t detract from my overall enjoyment of the book. It’s a great read at super price, certain to bring a smile to your face. I’ll definitely be on the lookout for more books by this author. I loved Tasha and would really like to learn about her future training and adventures as a search and rescue dog. Perfect combination of dog and mystery love–and just 99 cents!

|Susan’s review, Tracking Perception,

“Tracking Perception (Cherri Galbiati) – A Becky McAllen Mystery Novel.
This is such a fun read. A darkly murderous and exciting novel! Becky is a full-on, very likeable character – someone who, in real life, I’d love as a friend. She speaks her mind, at any cost. Just can’t help sticking her nose where it’s told not to go and gets herself into terribly embarrassing situations – totally of her own making! As always, with Cherri’s stories, the extra element of her love of dogs is woven throughout. This adds a rich layer of interest and I’m astounded at the skills and intuition of Search and Rescue dogs coupled with the patience and dedication of their owners. Downright enjoyable. My Rating:Hunker down with a block of chocolate and prepare to be entertained.”

|Fast paced mystery that won’t disappoint,
Search and Rescue dogs and their owners/handlers are in a league of their very own. And, no one brings out the love and training of a Search and Rescue dog better than Cherri Galbiati, whose writing is based on her own personal experiences and her love for these very special animals.
“Tracking Perception” is a fast paced mystery written by an author who knows how to develop mysteries and carry the storyline to the very last page. Tasha, a beautiful and way too smart German Shepherd, has a strong personality all her own and is a good match for Becky who’s not afraid to say what she thinks or do what she knows needs to be done. Suspenseful, dramatic, and spiced with humor, “Tracking Perception” is a novel that won’t disappoint. I’m looking forward to many more mysteries and other work by this perceptive and skillful author.
