The worst of the worst,
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to write a review of the PC Miller Navigator 450 for Truck Drivers.
The worst of the worst.
Just one incident, I was to drive to a village in the Southern Tier of NY state. I put in the Zip Code and street address. While driving to my destination – the PC Miller Navigator 450 for Truck Drivers kept trying to make me turn on roads that a delivery van would have trouble with. I stopped and looked at the information in the Navigator 450 and the village it was sending me to was 40 miles east of where I needed to go. So I tried entering the village name and street address. Again the Navigator 450 was sending me to another location. Frustrating to say the least.
Saving locations is a hassle when trying to use the Alpha key board. And then, when trying to scroll the address to select a location for travel – the Navigator 450 continues to select one rather than letting you scroll to find the one you want. Frustrating and time consuming.
The sound setting keeps going back to low every time you shut the system down and restart – if you forget to reset – trying to reset while driving as a hazard.
Finally navigating the system time consuming and frustrating – I would never buy a PC Miller Product again.

i got this pc 450 on a friday sent it back on a tuesday.. talk to one of the service techs in nj or ny and told him what it was doing ” taking me under low bridges while it was in truck mode ” and he said its probably something in the soft wear.. so i called mn where i ordered it from and talked to someone there to no success so she gave me to her superviser and he said it was not the gps but my area.. i told him it took me under 5 low underpasses and one covered bridge that was 2 ton weight limit and 9 ft tall.. “good thing i was in my car checking it out”!! so to cut it short i was out 10% of my puchase price.. so do yourself a favor don’t waste your money on this buy a garmin or randy mcnally or something that will do the job.. p.s. i work in ohio the companys been there 15yrs and it says there is no. house numbers on that road and thats not the only place it will not find. very bad bata base.

I got this nav system to help improve my delivery and not have to use my cell phone to find my destination. So far the only thing it was usefull for finding was an address in Canada. If you are an over the road truck drive pass on this nav system.
