|moto q and 1860,
I am still using the Moto Q. I started using some of the 1860 mAh (extended life) as replacements. Then ran into a rebooting issue with the Q. Didn’t happen at first, but after six months of use the Moto Q began showing errors and rebooting.
Verizon replaced the phone.
With new Moto Q in hand (amazed Verizon had some in stock) I thought I was set, but then the rebooting issue returned. Doesn’t happen all the time, but it’s definitely an issue. (Verizon’s replacement phone did not include battery).
The only thing that hasn’t changed between the old and new Moto Q is the battery. The original battery is a 1640 mAh (extended life), so I started reusing that and have ordered a new 1640. If that fix doesn’t work, then it’s off to buy a new cell. (I was looking forward to a contract free life….)
I can’t say for certain whether there is a direct connection between the 1860 mAh and the rebooting of the Q. But it’s the only thing that hasn’t changed between the new and old phones.
I rated the battery four stars because when the phone is working it does give a solid day of active use without any worry, and probably close to two days, but i charge nightly.
