   I purchased this case a few months ago when I first got my droid 2. I bought it because of the inexpensive price, thinking I will just use it for a week or two while I research the well known “better” cases and then drop the big money on one of those. the first couple days I used this case, the holsters belt clip broke, but i seen others were having this same problem and it did not come as a surprise.

   A few weeks later, I drop a lot of money on a well known brand (seidio), took this case off and tossed it in a drawer. a week later, I was digging this case out of the drawer, because the other case’s front plate kept falling off my phone! then one of the tabs broke off and made the case useless!

   A few more weeks with no problems from this case, and I dropped some more money on a different well known brand (The otterbox).. in the drawer this case went again.

   Dropped the phone once with my new case, and the corner cracked!!! Out of the drawer this case came again!!

   I stopped looking for a well known brand for my droid 2, because after many drops and months of use, I haven’t had any troubles with this case.. so why exactly was I trying to get a new one??? I guess the price made me feel it wasn’t going to be any good???

   … bumped into someone with a droid 2 yesterday, no front cover, i knew what case he had on it from my first attempt to replace this case. I showed him this case and told him the price.. he seemed a little upset! It was then I decided I should write a review so other people don’t waste their time looking for an expensive case that will not hold up as well as this one.

   *** side note, the seidio case’s belt clip is awesome, and I use that clip with this case whenever i need to clip the phone on my pants. The holster that came with this, now missing the clip, i use for the days I’m sticking the phone in my back pocket

   I went through two of these. Overall, I liked the hard case and the way that the two pieces fit together. the problem was the belt clip. I broke two in three weeks. It is just a bad design. The clip is two big, hangs on stuff, and the rotating attachment breaks easily.

   I bought this almost a year ago when I purchased my Droid 2 and it has served me well! It did develop a couple of cracks almost 6-7 months later, but a little super glue fixed it right up. I had to replace it after about 10 months. I love this case and holster…and if you have a Droid 2, you don’t have a lot of choices anymore…and the price was great!
