   I have a Dell D630 and this was my first foray into the non-OEM market (I have since bought 3 others — see my other reviews).

   I would have to rate this below average given my experience with the other non-OEM batteries. Although this initially fit well and bumped up my D630′s total battery life to around 5 hours (had a stock 6 cell working alongside this), I would not buy it again.

   The battery life dropped off EXTREMELY rapidly. After about 2 to 3 months of admittedly heavy use, this battery was down to less than half of the total time to discharge. In fact, I actually got better battery life WITHOUT it plugged into my computer (i.e., only using my stock 6-cell battery).

   Avoid this model, if not the manufacturer altogether.

   The battery is labeled as a Dell product. Put it in a Dell D620 laptop DVD bay, it appeared to start charging, but would not charge above 5% and caused the battery light on the laptop to flash, indicating an error. Assume it’s a totally dead or bad battery.

   Lasts about 2 hours, a bit longer than my worn out original equipment Dell. Perhaps that’s what engineering expected, I didn’t check before I purchased to see how many cells it had. The Trent replacement battery, however (part of the palm rest) is robust.
