It’s nice. But it could be better…,
For my Samsung Galaxy Nexus. It looks and feels nice. Fits perfectly on the phone. I don’t know how much it’s going to cushion the phone from a drop or fall because it doesn’t have any rubber cushion. But it does look nice. And like someone else said… the bottom and very top is not covered. So there’s no protection in those areas from a drop or fall. If they would fix that then it would be way better. Hope this helps.

I almost returned the case ordered from United Integral but ultimately I made it work. First of all I received it 1 week after the end of the promised shipping window. I was sure it got lost in mail but better late than never. Luckily I had ordered some other cases so the phone got some protection in the interim. The other issue is that the phone is very hard to remove from holster. You definitely have to un-clip and try prying with two hands. Maybe it will get looser after a while but if so, would that mean it will get *too* loose after a while longer?
I have seen on other reviews that the finish may rub off and it looks bad after a while. The finish has a nice rubberized feel but I guess it may be just a coating that may rub off. Another negative other reviews have made me aware of is that the short edges of the phone are not covered so they are not protected.
But I decided to keep this product and here is why…
It looks cool. Very nice design and finish (at least in the “new” state). I also have purchased a Diztronic TPU case ([...]) which protects the phone all around. I am using this instead of the case it came with. And I can still use the holster! In fact it now slides in/out a little easier. Best of both worlds… Unfortunately this means I cannot use the stand which is built into the original case part. But I found a workaround for that too! The holster clip is made to enable keeping it open and act as a kickstand itself. I guess this is part of their previous design and more recent designs have moved the kickstand from the holster to the case. It misses a piece of wire that will lock the holster clip in the open position but I can fairly easily craft one myself, maybe even from paperclip wire.
So the way I will be using it, it will be a 4 star solution. (1 star subtracted because I have to craft my own wire). I probably should subtract another star because I would be using my own case but since I already have (and really love) the Diztronic TPU case and my solution allows me to keep that case is actually good. This product simply adds the ability to holster, clip and (with my wire) provide a stand.
